"Hats slide off my head. They always did. Especially winter hats. With the ear flaps and leather strap this stays put and the strap keeps the ears flaps close to the ears. I won’t go through winter without it. Good idea to have a stretcher, tho’, if yours gets wet regularly. Bought my first one in 2006. Currently on my third."
