The Acker is a center dent crown with a 2 1/2" snap brim in our signature shape retentive, water repellent LiteFelt® body. We used a dual color suede band and added a thick whipstitch along the top edge for a rugged feel. A thin metal trim secures the right side of the band, while a self-crosspiece finishes the left side of the head.

"I spoke with a nice helpful person when I ordered a hat. I informed that person I purchased a Baily hat thru another distributor. I ordered that one in extra large. But I needed to put material in the band for a better fit. The person that I was talking to on the phone at Bailys said they had fillers and would send me 2 for one each hat (they forgot) I plan on ordering from them again. Seems to be a good company, mistakes happen."
"As a devout short-brim fedora wearer, I generally don't see myself looking at, much less wearing a different style hat. The Bailey Acker is definitely an exception. The Acker's style, for lack of a better description, is cool. The fit hits the mark. The hat band lends a distinctive and custom look. Bailey's commitment to excellence shows with the Acker. My only caveat is make sure you look for any Bailey with a made in America and shun the imports."
